Volunteer
As an Individual, Group, or Community
If you have a group or community that you know who would like to contribute to Blankets for a Brighter Day the best way to help would be to make some tie blankets! All you need is fleece, scissors, a ruler, and some helpers! Download the attachment below for instructions on how to make the blankets. Once you are done making the blankets, use the Contact Us tab to schedule a time to drop the blankets off.

Workdays
Blankets for a Brighter Day will be organizing workdays for individuals or groups who would like to help make blankets. To be a part of these workdays all you need to do is bring yourself, a pair of scissors, a ruler, and fleece. Bringing your own fleece is greatly appreciated. Fleece can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Hancock fabrics, and JoAnn fabrics. Fleece ranges in price from four dollars a yard to fifteen dollars a yard. Blankets are made with two different patterns of fleece, each of which requires a yard and a half of fabric.
